1/2 to 3/4 pound of crab meat
1 cup of frozen peas
2 carrots shredded
1 bottle of zesty Italian salad dressing or 1/2 cup of Mayo.
1 pound package of Rotini or some other small size pasta, cooked and drained.
I usually cook the pasta at home and put it in a plastic bag to chill. When I get ready to go to the boat I get out the bag of cooked pasta, the carrots and the peas ready to go. I take a bottle of Italian dressing in case I don't have one on the boat. You can use canned crab meat or if you are in an area where you can catch your own crabs, that works too. When we are catching them ourselves, we steam them and have them for dinner and then save the left over crabs to pick for this crab salad.
The crabs you catch and pick yourself are tastier than the crab meat out of a can.
