I am all for short cuts or semi-homemade. Make use of your microwave on this one. It is very fast to asemble.
1 pound sliced Deli Roast beef
1 can of condensed beef broth—or 10 1/2 ounces of beef broth
1/2 cup of steak sauce. I like A-1
1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
4 French rolls or a loaf of french break cut into 4 pieces
In a 1 1/2 quart microwave bowl, combine Deli Roast Beef, beef broth, 1/4 of the steak sauce. Cover and microwave on high for 2-3 minutes.
Combine Dijon mustard and remaining (1/4 cup) of steak sauce. Spread on the bottom of the French bread or rolls. Using a slotted spoon put roast beef on the rolls. Serve with broth mixture for dipping.
Put some swiss cheese on if you like cheese. If you have time, saute some onions or mushrooms to go on the roast beef.
